October 2009 Round Up

This is a monthly tradition I try and follow. I found it originally at Katie the Scrapbook Lady’s blog and been doing it on & off for a few years. I usually just answer the questions and not do the tasks. Should start doing the tasks – like backing up my photos (something I’m not too good at).

Anywho, onto the questions……..

What books and/or magazines did I read this month? A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. Scrapbooking Memories

What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month? NCIS, NCIS LA, Stargate Universe. Terminator Salvation

What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends? Spent some time in town. Chatted about an upcoming class.

What gifts did I give and/or receive? More clothes for bub

What special or unusual purchases did I make? ebook of 2010 Memory Logbook from Log Your Memory – so I can keep a daily record in 2010 and bub’s first year. A class with Shimelle – Blogging for Scrapbookers. Really looking forward to that starting.

What illnesses or health concerns did I have? heartburn, a head cold and I got a cold sore yesterday :(

What were my accomplishments this month?  Finally enrolling in one of the online classes I wanted to take. Starting my TAFE course.

What were my disappointments this month? Getting a cold sore. Having a major stress out (hence the cold sore lol)

Anything else noteworthy to include? I’m really starting to show now :) Midwives are happy with how everything is going.

To do:

Backup photos (to other hard drive, server & DVD) – currently going thru & sorting pics from the last three months
Backup websites & blog – will do that tonight
Backup important docs – will do that tonight

Testing

Just playing around testing the sidebar.

Cool that worked. now I just need to

a) add some more posts
b) add some more bits over there -->

Welcome (again)

I've decided to start back up this blog. I'm taking part in Shimelle's class Blogging for Scrapbookers so I thought I'd keep the stuff I do here (who knows I may end up coming back here from WP lol)

Decided to change the theme as well. It took me AGES to find a theme I really liked (& that worked). So bear with me while I fiddle and add some gadgets & links etc
